The tour starts with an amazing cultural experience at the Gorilla Guardian Village, formerly known as ‘Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village,’ which is located near the park.

Our Gorilla Bookings guide will pick you up from Kigali international airport or from your hotel in Kigali, take you for a Kigali City Tour before transferring to Musanze province where Volcanoes national park, the home to the mountain Gorillas is located. You will proceed to Check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Kigali
After an early morning breakfast, you will transfer to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a briefing about the Gorilla trekking rules before starting the Gorilla trek through the bamboo forests. You may take between 1-5 hours to find the Gorillas and viewing may take another 1 hour before departing for Kigali where our guide will drop you off at your hotel or take you to the Airport for your late departure flight.
