The best time to visit Uganda is from June to August and December to February, which are the Dry seasons. Wildlife viewing is at its peak then. Primate walks in the forest are a big part of any safari in Uganda. The habitat of rainforests is, by default, very wet, and you can’t avoid rain completely. However, after heavy rain, the skies often open up to bright sunshine.
Uganda is a safe country to visit, especially when your part of an organized game drive with private guides, as you will be with us. These tours are designed to enhance your safety and provide you with a well-guided experience. There are, of course, some places to avoid in big cities like Kampala or Entebbe. But – as with everywhere else in the world – you’ll be fine by taking some precautions. Just some examples to be on the safe side, pun intended, don’t explore the city at night without a driver or guide, keep your valuables close to you, avoid wearing prominent and visible jewelry, and leave some things like passports in the hotel safe.

Masai Mara is famous all over the world for its annual wildebeest migration and the big five wild animals while Lake Nakuru is well known as a bird sanctuary, especially for the lesser and greater flamingos thus great for bird watching. The park is home to many black and white rhinos, both endangered species. In Lake Nakuru, you will also encounter lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and antelopes during your 4 days Kenya Safari tour.

Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingos, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times, there may be almost 2 million flamingos in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lakeshore. Each year Masai Mara plays host to the world’s greatest natural spectacle, the Great Migration of wildebeest from Serengeti National Park, Tanzania To Masai Mara, Kenya. From July to October, the promise of rain and fresh life-giving grass in the north brings more than 1.3 million wildebeest together into a single massive herd. They pour across the border into the Mara making a spectacular entrance in a surging column of life that stretches from horizon to horizon. At the Mara River, they mass together on the banks before finally plunging forward through the raging waters, creating a frenzy as they fight against swift currents and waiting crocodiles.
