Day 1: Airport pick-up and Transfer to the hotel in Kampala/ Entebbe

On arrival, you will be welcomed by a driver guide from Gorilla Bookings Uganda. Thereafter, you will be transferred to your booked accommodation. Day 2: Drive to Gulu with enroute Rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After your morning breakfast, embark on your journey to Gulu with a stopover for Rhino Tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. The Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is the only gazetted area where you will find the White Rhinos in Uganda. The Rhino Tracking tour usually lasts between 1 hour and 2 hours. After which you will embark on the journey and drive to Kabalega Dinners for lunch, and then continue the journey to Gulu city, where you will spend the night. On arrival, you check in to the lodge for rest. Later dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park and Afternoon Game Drive in Narus Valley

After an early morning breakfast, embark on your journey to Kidepo Valley National Park. You will have a scenic drive through the Rural Uganda countryside, lasting 4.5 hours. Upon arrival in Kidepo Valley, proceed and check in to your lodge, where you will have lunch and a little rest. In the afternoon, you will go on a game drive in Kidepo Valley National Park. Narus Valley is popular for mammals such as elephants, giraffes, buffalo, antelopes, zebras, and birds. Being the only permanent water point, many animals come to Narus Valley to drink water and feed. It’s where you will find the largest buffalo herds than you can find anywhere on planet earth. Chances of spotting big cats hunting are very high as well. If you’re lucky, you may spot the rare cheetahs too. Return to the Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park - Morning game drive and afternoon Karimojong community tour

In the morning, we will go for another game drive in the park, this time to seek out the animals that you could have missed during the previous game drives, as well as to polish off the game drive. After, you will return to the lodge for lunch. In the Afternoon, you will visit the Karamojong homesteads, known as the Manyatta. Here you will have the opportunity to interact with the elders and get to know more about their culture and lifestyle. And enjoy some of the local community activities like traditional dances and songs, among others. Note: You can opt to spend the whole day doing game drives; no extra cost is charged for the afternoon game drive if you swap with the Karamojong community tour.

Day 5: Kidepo Valley National Park to Guided Nature Walk, and Afternoon game drive

After your early morning breakfast, we go for a guided nature walk through the park, which offers you a great opportunity to see several animals and bird species. The guide will provide information about animals, birds, their habits, and how they can track their movements. This guided nature walk offers a great encounter with wild animals up close and personal in their habitat. In the late afternoon, you will have an evening game drive along the Narus River Valley for game viewing and photography of large numbers of the game as they gather around the water source to quench their thirst. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, Afternoon Game Drive

After an early morning breakfast, embark on your journey from Kidepo to Murchison Falls National Park. This is a 6-hour drive, and you will arrive at your hotel, check in, and have lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will go for an afternoon game drive in the park where you may be able to see some of the animals, including elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, warthogs, bushbucks, waterbucks, Jackson, heartbeats, hippos, several birds, and many more. After that, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Murchison Falls National Park - Morning game drive and after Boat cruise along the Mighty Nile

Rise early and have breakfast, and thereafter, drive to the park by the break of dawn, the drive will reward you with encounters of game including the Big five game as well as several other mammal species, including hyenas, leopards, jackals, lions, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, elephants, and many more savannah wildlife species. Enjoy a 4-hour game drive around the Buligi game tracks, which stretch between the Victoria and Albert Niles, and down to the Nile-Lake Albert Delta. Return for midmorning breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon, you will go on a boat cruise on the Nile for more game viewing. The boat cruise to the bottom of the falls is often cited as being the highlight of a trip to Murchison. During the boat ride, you will have a close-up and personal experience as you sail across the animals. Along this stretch of the river, the bird life is stunning with brightly colored kingfishers. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 8: Transfer from Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale Forest National Park

After morning breakfast, you check out of the lodge and exit the park with an enroute game drive. You continue with the drive to Kibale Forest National Park with en route stops for sightseeing, including the distant views of the rift valley escarpment. Upon arrival, you check in to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 9: Kibale Forest National Park - Chimpanzee Tracking and afternoon Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After Breakfast, walk into the Forest to view primates; however, before you begin, you will head out to the park headquarters at Kanyanchu for a briefing on the dos and don’ts for chimpanzee trekking. After, you will be accompanied by the expert ranger to begin the search. The activity begins early morning at 8.00 a.m. and spends half the day looking for chimpanzees. Kibae forest is the prime capital. Therefore, you will encounter other primate species while on the trek, including monkey species like grey-cheeked Mangabey, Red-tailed monkeys, phoestes, red colobus, plus blue-tailed monkeys, all jumping from one branch to another. You will also encounter a profusion of birds and butterflies, plus many tiny insects. The park ranger will provide information concerning these primates and the different birds, animals, and plant life here; this will make the walk very informative and enjoyable. You will return to the lodge and have lunch, and then embark on your 2.5-hour drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Kibale and Queen Elizabeth are two of the closest national parks. The drive takes you through local homesteads and small towns. On arrival, you will drive and check into the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Visit Katwe Explosion Crater, Kazinga Boat cruise, and afternoon Game Drive

After an early breakfast, proceed for a drive around the Katwe explosion crater. This is one of the most enjoyable activities to do in Queen Elizabeth National Park, which rewards you with scenic views and a great wildlife encounter experience. Later, proceed for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel from 11 am to 2:00 pm. During the boat cruise, you will spot various water animals like Hippos and crocodiles, and the cruise will also enrich you with various water birds. Return to your hotel for lunch. Later, go for an afternoon game drive in the Kasenyi sector, you may spot various animals like the elephants, Uganda Kobs, leopards, among others on this best Uganda safari. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 11: Travel to Ishasha Sector, Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

After an early breakfast, you will embark on the Journey to the gorilla trekking haven of Bwindi via the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for the tree-climbing lions. If lucky, you may spot them hanging on the branches in the midmorning sunshine. This sector is also boosted by the biggest population of wild game. Exit the park and continue with the drive to Bwindi with enroute lunch. On arrival, check in at your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 12: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, and then Transfer to Mgahinga

Keep up with the early bird, take a hot coffee with a snack, and be at the park offices by 7:00 am for a briefing by Ranger guides about general trekking experiences, getting porters to carry your extra luggage, and start off your really exciting Mountain gorilla trekking safari. Ascend steep, rugged, mist-covered, thick forested hills and get in the mix with thousands of other primates, birds, mammals, insects, and different wildlife species sharing habitat with gorillas and walk in their footprints. The exciting feeling of challenging the impenetrable forests and meeting up with the gentle giants is so captivating, as the time spent in the jungles will stretch your imagination. Once you have found them, you will spend one hour with gorillas as you observe and watch them go about their daily activities. After, you will return to the park offices and then continue with the journey to Kisoro, and on arrival, you check in to the lodge close to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.

Day 13: Golden Monkey Trekking and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park with Night Game Drive

After an early morning breakfast, you will head out for the Golden monkey trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. This activity will last for 3 hours, during which you will spot several other monkey species in the forest, accompanied by the expert ranger, to begin the trek. You will spend one hour with them as you watch them jump from one tree branch to another. After that, you will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, transfer from Mgahinga Gorilla National Park to Lake Mburo National Park, which is located in the western part of Uganda. The drive will take approximately 4-5 hours. It is one of Uganda’s smallest but most beautiful national parks. Lake Mburo is famous for having the largest population of Zebras and Impalas in Uganda. It is made of seasonal swamps, woody Savannah grassland that is dominated by acacia, and Lakes.

Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge, have lunch, and relax as you prepare for the night Game drive. Later in the evening, prepare and move out for the night game drive. Night Game drives in Lake Mburo National Park in Uganda are ideal for you. Notably known as the only park where you can spot an exceptional number of impalas compared to any of the other Savannah parks. These game drives will also give you a wonderful experience for extraordinary sightseeing and viewing of diverse wildlife species. Through a network of game tracks, tourists are able to see animals ranging from Zebras, Impalas, giraffes, warthogs, buffalo, and hyenas. Waterbucks, elands, oribi, hippos, crocodiles, reedbuck, and many others. Then, after, you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 14: Morning Nature Walk– Travel back to Entebbe Airport or your Hotel

Upon waking up on your final day of the 14-Day Uganda Safari, you will have an early morning heavy breakfast and then you will proceed for a Nature walk or horse riding within the park which will take about 2 to 3 hours, this experience in Lake Mburo national park will take you off the main paths and you will go deep into the bush trails to enjoy the park and see herds of zebras, giraffes, Elands, impalas, buffalos, Defassa waterbucks, oribis, leopards, hippos, hyenas, topis and reedbuck among others.  After this unique experience, you will then drive to Entebbe International Airport or your Hotel with a lunch stopover and also a stopover at the Equator line.
