The best time to visit Uganda is from June to August and December to February, which are the Dry seasons. Wildlife viewing is at its peak then. Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Breakfast for day one will be provided at the hotel or your place of residence, followed by a meet, and greet and briefing on the 3 days of the Queen Elizabeth Tour by our driver. There will be a number of stopovers including at the Uganda Equator along Masaka road. Here you will be able to stand in both the northern and southern hemispheres and also experiment with how water swirls in different directions when placed in the northern and southern hemispheres. Take photos and even buy some of the beautiful souvenirs. Head straight to the lodge.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Start the day with early game drives that expose us to diverse animals including the Big Five—elephants, buffaloes, big cats- lions, leopards, and rhinos. More times in the evening, warthogs, and hunchback carnivals like hyenas are spotted along the circuits as we drive along, and many more species that are residents to this park. There is a rich birdlife especially our version of storks in the wetland spots as we reach the flamingoes in the salt lakes at Kasenyi.
Enjoy a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel, a 36km channel linking Lake George and Lake Edward. Here you’ll see land and water-adapted hippos yawning, the National Geographical Society killing machine, the Nile crocodile, gaping along the banks, and the savannah version of pigs, the warthog-Pumba are a hallmark sign in this animal home. With your binoculars along the peninsula, you’ll have a magnificent view of birds and animals like the ever-playing African elephants in the water.
This 4-day gorilla trekking safari offers you the opportunity to observe two different gorilla groups in the impenetrable forest. You’ll get to spend two hours interacting with these magnificent primates, and you might also enjoy a community walk to meet the Batwa people and learn about their daily lives.

Be early to hit the road in the morning since along journey to the southwestern part of Uganda where the park is located. During your journey, you will have a brief stop in Mbarara town where you will have your lunch meal plus maybe mini shopping if you, please, and thereafter head on. While on the road you will then be in sight of Uganda’s other amazing beauties inclusive of which is the beautiful scenery of the city. On reaching the park you will check in at the accommodation. dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Tracking and Community Walk
The day that you’re going to be an insight of the gorgeous primates the gorillas wake up early to buy yourself time to have breakfast and pick your packed lunch plus drinking water since you ought to have long hours in the forest searching for these apes. You will be expected to be at the park headquarters on time for your briefing and there on head to the forest to engage in your first trekk which may take 2 to 6 hours depending on the animal’s movement. A Full hour allows you to visualize the animals as they move around and react differently to your visit, while here you will be able to know why these apes are called cousins to man since the semblance to human character is positive. There after the trek head back to the park headquarters and then finally the lodging. Freshen up and take on a community walk to see the Batwa people and their ways of life you can enjoy their cultural dances and songs as they demonstrate it all for you. Day 3: Second Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
You will follow the same routine as yesterday only that on reaching the forest after the morning briefing you will be trekking a different group from the one trekked the previous day, take pictures of this group too as you conclude your minutes in the forest. After your last trek head back to the car to drive off to Lake Bunyonyi which by the way has fantastic views and activities like canoeing and others. On arrival check-in, freshen up then dinner, and overnight at either Acadia cottages or Bunyonyi overland camp.

Wake up early enough to have your fantastic breakfast meal. Their head for the stunning boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi that will allow you a view of some of the islands on this lake as you observe the well terraced hills surrounding the lake and many more scenic views. Then you will pack up and be on your way to Kampala with lunch en-route plus other stopovers that you would love to make as we come to the very beginning of the end of our double trekking safari. On reaching Kampala you will either be dropped at the airport for your flight or to a hotel in case your stay is still on.
